Kelaysia Holland State Qualifier in 100 and 300 Meter Hurdles

Last Saturday at the regional track meet in Lubbock Kelaysia Holland qualified for state in both the 100 and 300 meter hurdles.  Kelaysia finished first in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 14.95 while finishing second in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 45.51.  The state track meet will be held

Lady Bengals Track Finishes 8th at Regional Meet in Lubbock

The Lady Bengals had a great weekend in Lubbock finishing 8th overall in total team points.  Last year the Lady Bengals only sent one athlete to regionals, this year they sent nine!  The Lady Bengals were able to make it to the finals in the 100 meter hurdles, 300 meter hurdles, 4×200 relay, 4×400 relay,

Varsity Girls Track are Area Champions!

The varsity girls finished first last night with a come from behind victory to claim the first area championship in school history. The girls were sitting in 5th place going into the 4×400 needing a top four finish to secure the win.  The 4×400 ended up finishing 3rd shaving ten seconds off their previous best

Boys Track Sending Four Athletes to Regionals in Lubbock.

The varsity boys track team will be sending four athletes to Lubbock next week for the regional track meet.  Quinton Draine qualified in the 100 meter dash while the boys 4×200 team also qualified.  Making up the 4×200 are Caleb Richardson, Jaeden Johnson, Quinton Drain, Ifeoluwasimi Yessuff, and Malik Williams.  For all results please go to

Varsity and JV Girls Track are both District 5-5A Team Champions

Both the Varsity and JV girls took home the district championship Wednesday night.  The JV girls won with 188 points while the Varsity girls scored 148 points.  This is the first district championship in school history for the girls track program.  The Lady Bengals will be sending numerous girls on to the area meet April

Varsity Boys Finish 3rd at District 5-5A Championship

The varsity boys track team finished 3rd overall Wednesday night at the District 5-5A Championship.  The Bengals fought hard until the end but could not catch Denton High for 2nd place.  The Bengals will be sending numerous athletes on to the area meet which will take place April 18-19th at Northwest High School.  Final results

JV Girls Place 1st, Varsity Girls 2nd at Decatur Fit-N-Wise
